Part 2 of our afternoon with Rogue Valley sees Chris Koza and Joey Kantor of Rogue Valley performing their song “Cleaning Slates” in the Living Room on the Lower East Side.

In this episode of Geocachers Sam and the crew meet up with Chris Koza and Rogue Valley at The Living Room on the Lower East Side, and go geocaching at the site of an historic gang war in New York.

Langhorne Slim and the Law join the Geocachers team for a little geocaching in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn. Only problem was that we couldn’t find the geocache. It took a while, but eventually, we stumbled on it.

Langhorne Slim and the Law hung out at Bait & Tackle in Red Hook with us before we went out into the neighborhood to do a little geocaching. The bar, with it’s taxidermy animals lining the room, somehow matched the song they played perfectly. 

And as a side note, Bait & Tackle, not only a great place to have a band give you a private concert, but the bartenders here geocache as well. Geocachers definitely welcome there. 

In the second part of our afternoon with the British indie-folk duo Smoke Fairies we retreated to the back yard of their publicist, Samantha Tillman. Smoke Fairies pulled out some tiny amps and played their song “Erie Lakawanna” for us.

Part 2 of the Thousands episode is up now! After we went geocaching we went for a beer at The Bell House and they played “Red Seagulls” for us. If you’re enjoying this, check out their album The Sound Of Everything. 

The indie-folk duo Thousands joined Sam for a geocache in Gowanus. They have a tough time telling the difference between street trash and the prize.
